As far as I ever knew a slingshot had the driver behind the rear end with the motor up front (where it belongs by the way).
I would "assume" a non slingshot had the driver either in front of the motor and or in front of the rear end.
But don't quote me on that.LOL

Cool, thanks for the explanation. Kinda sounds like an FED for a scaredy-cat.

I have 3 slingshots from different eras and they all put your balls against the rearend.

Post a photo Royal. A non-slingshot FED sounds like an "alterd" chassis to me.

I have yet to see a "scaredy-cat" step out of a FED.

I meant more like not wanting to lay your balls on it so you prop your seat up against it. One step closer to a rear engine.........digger. But no offense to anyone who has a non-slingshot.

Hey Royal, you are my idol. I'm almost 40 and what you have is my goal before my 9yr. old son turns 40 himself. two thumbs up.

The HAMB FED is a non-slingshot. Driver sits in front of the rear wheels. (just an example)...

How come the engine has to go where the horse used to go, facing the same way?
