I got to drive the 51 today.

    It was only across a parking lot and into a garage,But it was cool!I dropped it off to have the exhaust bent. I can't wait to drive it on the street.(just like the other cars [​IMG])I'll post some pics soon.

    I always dug that part of a car build-up...the "driving it to the exhaust shop on open headers" part!

    (I only live a few blocks from the place I take my stuff for pipes!)

    CONGRATS JT! You're making me jealous, I thought I was doing good just getting the frame welded up and ready to mount the suspension. Hell I'm 6 mos from even lighten' the engine off. You'll be cruisin' before the frost hits the pumpkins, good work!

    Congrats! That's always a big accomplishment. It takes alot of determination and work to make the maiden voyage.

    I remember the madien voyage with the wifes 41. 4 miles to the upholstery shop sitting on a milk crate.
    Had the impression of the crate on my ass for 2 days! hehe
    Way to go JT. Keep plugging.
    How's the girl from NYC coming on he Poncho?

    Thanks guys!Moondisc,the poncho is slow going.She did get the wheels powder coated,and new tires on.

    JT..you've come a long way baby! When we bought our Stude, I drove it off the lot with no windshield. I still remember the thrill of crusin' down the road with the breeze a blowin'. Won't be as long as it has been..... [​IMG]
