    Great item. It's cool.
Bet that goes well with the skulls and spider webs.
Reminds me of the old carnie stuff you'd see at a side show.

How does a 1939 ANYTHING not fit traditional hotrod. Using your guidelines 75% of the cars here wouldn't fit either including your avatar if it has anything but a banger or flathead from the era. Pinto engine, don't count, Merc marine engine, nope, SBC nope, to late model engine to be "traditional". Of course...this is using your guidelines.

No my tail gate was too far gone with rust to have it function. Alot of "traditionalists" hate on the truck because it's not all original. I'm just an all around car guy and It was pulled out of an old guys barn and he bought it new in 39. The frame was rusted and the body was rusted and I decided to keep another old car on the road so it's an all new frame and I left the body just how I found it (which is my style) and the interior is clean but still shows how I found it. It's not for everyone but I put it back on the road and just updated the modern day comforts. Here is how it looked Screenshot_20170428-175345.jpg Screenshot_20170428-175250.jpg

  27. Yeah, and the house prolly isn't authentic either...SMH

The only advice I can give to the younger crowd coming up, is:

Don't worry, the bitchin old geezers will be dead soon enough.

  28. I have never seen a fooey face and kinda like it although I wouldn't put it on my car I would definitely hang it up in the garage.

I'm one of the old curmudgeons that prefers the traditional styles but there is room in the car world for all kinds of hot rods, personally I love the old stink bug look of nose down, arse up rake but the low rider style works well on your truck. HRP

Cool truck. I don't see where anyone can say that it doesn't fit in the HAMB. There is such a thing as low rider trucks too! ;)
