I got a new 34 Coupe, some say its perfect some say its not, what do you say ?

    They are the Excelsior Coker race tires, I have them on several of my hot rods and really like them very stable and can do high speed.

    they are 700 17 and 500 16 I am thinking I might go with 5.50 16 though after seeing them on the car. I felt like the front was slightly too small. But gonna drive it like this first and then decide.

    Stepping in dogshit is also a memorable experience, but not one I care to remember. Lars and Mark nailed this one. It's 100% better and will be a thing all its own.

    It didn't have a hood when you started. Now you've added the hood and grille shell. Any thoughts about fenders or no fenders?

    Nope no fenders, thats pretty much done as you see it now. Just has to have the bits put on it to make it gooooo. Hopefully I can bring it to the saturday morning show in the next few months.

    I remember that car for sale at the A + W in Paso maybe 6 years ago , I think he wanted $20,000 for it . Looks much better now , I like hoods on 34's .

    Ok it sbeen a while since we last updated, things are now moving along much faster, body has been rechopped, brake lines run suspension is 90% done frame has been painted.

    youre doin an awesome job, love the full hood. Now, knowin already i'll upset everybodyelse, i like the "birdshoter" pipes, mayb not the fishtails, but i like the position.
    What you doin w/ the exhaust then? plus, wasnt that there at the time of the Mercury kid?

    clean up the engine bay especially the spark plug wires. and also remove the peice of steel hanging off the front frame horns

    i like the chop. and i like the spring hanger and how it gets the back down so low, but doesn't look silly.

    I think Irish nailed it, but I would change out the fuel lines to something new and fuel rated. Super cool car. Nice score. Gary
