Man I love it. I just bought a 57 f100 too and I love driving it. In fact it's my daily. It's got a 351 Cleveland and was clipped with a 73-77 chevelle. Rear axle flipped and frame c notched. Power steering, brakes and a/c. I wish I had the chrome grill. Mine is painted but I think that's gonna change shortly. Good luck with your project.

You need to throw that thing on the photoshop thread and get your game plan in hand. Congrats on an excellent foundation of making me jealous!

Good truck! Got one myself years ago. Working on punching out the oil and gen idiot lights and replacing with oil and amps gauges from a 61 Furd F-100. Also going to drop 368 Lincoln Y and dual range hydramatic in mine, sometime in the next 10 years. Left front fender near door rots out quickly. Have to install patch panel. Fortunately LMC truck carries them and they are up in KC.

I call mine the PUSH TRUCK. They make great Push trucks/cars for starting up those old dragsters. Just hang an old tire on the front, or remove the bumper and put a 2x12 on.

Nice! Welcome to the fridge club. I love these trucks. I have a 1960. Check out the mooneyes push truck if you plan to go that route. Come on over to the 57-60 group on here too!

    Congrats!

My favorite F100 year! Nice score man!! I'm gonna sell or trade my 66' chevy shrtbox for one of these someday soon. That price on the window is mighty fine!;)

Doesn't look like much has changed but I have an overhauled transmission and new clutch. The good news I can now drive it !

Worked on cleaning out the 57 today and I found some rust in the bed and body mounts but I still love the truck
