Well I finished my floor insert for my 37 Chevy PU today. I've done a lot of floor rust repair with purchased patch panels before but this is my first attempt with my newly built bead roller. I've got a few things to learn still but I think it's pretty good. Let's see some of what you've built for metal floors. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=282049&stc=1&d=1172538710 Floor Board.jpg
nice work, looks a clean job. ive got this job to come on my A, i unpacked the bead roller yesterday to start making a stand for it.
nice job! what kind of bead roller do you have and what gage of sheetmetal did you use. how long did it take to make.
Thanx everyone. I have a protools bead roller that I bought as a kit. The floor is 18g and seemed to be working the roller a bit hard so I have just made some modifications to it, gussets down the length of the two arms. I will post pictures of it as soon as I get it back together and I'll let you know how the mods work too. Including the 3/4" tube frame under the sheet and the trans hump it took about 6-8 hours. Thanx Again
