Ever have that feeling? Story starts with a very rusty 37 Chevy Business Coupe on the rotisserie that needs an entire floor and fire wall. After bracing it all in the fire wall is replaced. Next floor from fire wall to door pillars is replaced and then the center floor section followed by the trunk floor. Top side all done so time to flip it over to weld and seam seal the bottom but guess what---there are no longer any bolts through floor to frame. CRASH! right drip rail and right side of top a serious casualty. Top not a bad job but drip rail is gone but we think it looks cool with no drip rail and owner agrees--big relief. Engine 409 with 454 crank for 503ci. View attachment 3947232
Ouch!! Well, it looks like the car needed a cubic ton of work away so this was a mere speed bump in the road.
