I am thinking of printing a book with some of the best new customs, not built by big name people. They have enough of there own fame and shit going on. I'm talking the guys doing it out here just because they love doing it, who may or may not want any fame for do ing it. I'll be a little different aswell, and have a section of 15-20 pages for sponsors. If you would like to sponsor it, I haven't got prices for advertising yet, so just bear with me. If you would like to have your custom in the book, please post your pictures. :D If I put it in the book, i'll have you snap some detail shots, and get a quick little run down of the description. And if you have build pics, that would be sweet aswell.

    Thankyou

I don't know, I haven't decided yet, but i'm thinking about it very highly. All depends on how much I make off of the first one, to fund a second issue.

Hey Dead end, yep, i'll keep everyone updated by way of this, when I get to the point where the sponsorship part of the book is ready i'll let everyone know by way of this thread, and when it is ready for retail.

    Ollin, you're on the list!

You can do it through somewhere like Lulu.com and have no money out of pocket. The quality is actually pretty damn good these days.

Put me down for one copy. Can the cars be in primer or do they need to be glossy?

Nope, if it's custom, primer it can be as well as high gloss paint jobs. Like I said, if you have build pics, that would be good too.

Im never too shy to self-promote......

The first shot is from A32FLATHEAD (Dave) on HAMB.

This car has not been pimped in mags except GG Gazzette. No feature articles though.

See my signature for the build.

For the traditionalists among us, absolutely do include a section for vintage survivors from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Owner built or shop built would not matter, just as it wouldn't matter if you presented well maintained unrestored originals, derelicts, or examples that have been fully restored to their former glory. You could include a time line from the original build to the present day including construction photos with original photos when available to really add interest.

That's not a bad idea. Make it appealing to everyone in the industry.

One thing you're really gonna need to put some work into is getting permission for all the photos. And get it in writing from the photographer. The owner of the car doesn't have the rights if they didn't take the picture. PITA but necessary.
