I'm trying to work out a clutch arraignment on a small block Chevy with a Lakewood bell housing and a 318 Muncie 3 speed. I'm thinking I'd like to go hydraulic and I'm interested in the slave cylinders that mount inside the bell housing.

    So two quick questions:

Is there an inside the housing slave cylinder/throwout combo that works with the 318?

If not, what are people using for slave cylinders to push a standard clutch fork?

  2. Yes their is a slave/throw out combo you can get one from speedway or summit. I am running one on my T50 behind a 283 and it works great. I used a 62 chevy pickup master cylinder and changed the brake and clutch to the opposite sides. They even have shims to help adjust if needed hope this helps.
