Hydraulic Clutch in Model A - Ideas/Opinions

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by travj31, Apr 10, 2012.

  1. What is the easiest way to convert to a hydraulic clutch setup in a Model A? Currently I am running a SBC with a 39 Toploader 3 speed. Car is not channeled and I am running stock Model A pedals. Is there a simple way to do this? How much fabrication is involved?

The reason for this is... I am having issues with my clutch linkage. Would it be easier to rebuild it the way it is or should I switch to a hydraulic setup? Any imput is appreciated.

Easiest way? Buy a Pete and Jake's pedal set up and add a slave cylinder to the existing clutch throw out arm.
