    Hi Hambers,
Its been a long time since i post the very first pics of my '53 Hudson hornet.
In the past years i did some small things, like cleaning up some parts off the car with a steel brush on a axle grinder and sandblasting.
I dindn't see enough progression, to keep me sattisfied!!

So last week i sandblast the whole thing and sprayed anything in epoxy primer.
I did the sandblasting in my garage, for sure i never will do that again, sand and dust are everywhere and it's hard to remove.
I know it isn't got anything do with customizing yet, but i would share the pics and would like to here your oppinions and suggestions!!
I'am thinking of shaving the driprail or replace it by a round one.
Further plans are frenching the headlights, shaving the decklid and the nose, just hold a small part off the grill and put it on the ground.
I would like to build a clean and sober Kustom out of it.
(but off course thats still far away, i hope i can get it back on his wheels after the long cold winter)

looking forward to your tips and suggestions !!

    Vet model zeg!
Sandblasting can be a real dirty job, you will find the sand anywhere, even in your underpants haha. Ride after the winter?? You got alot of work to do before that, my schedule is getting later and later also. Good luck, looking good so far!!

    Thanx Marten!!

No driving for me the first two or three years...
I mean that i want the front and back drivetrain under it, anything nice painted or powdercoated.
First thing to do is fabricate some new front floorpanels.
I want them like the original ones with the profile in it!!
I worked out a 'test panel' and it turned out well!!i post some pics later!!

ps Hudsons or pretty unique here in Belgium!!

I did this Photoshop rendering some time ago.
It was based on a mild custom from Sweden...
