how wide is a 41 willys front axle?????

Thinking about getting a straight axle to fit under my willys frontend,
what is the track width of a 40-41 willys???

will this front end be a good choice?

Tinnys does a really good job.

 

48" is almost certainly too wide - that would be a Kingpin to Kingpin measurement. 46" KP to KP would be a better choice. Can you specify which particular measurement you require - kingpin to kingpin or hub to hub? Track width is of little help.

 

I double checked a 1940 Willys axle and it measures 48" center to center across the the kingpins.

I think that the 56 1/2" measurement is from drum to drum (or disc) surface

is that what a stock willys is???
