Our club member Jim is the Deacon and youth pastor at his church. He is always doing so much for other people and has little time to get his 52 Chevy where he would like it. He recently took a bus load of kids to New Orleans for a youth conference. So a plan was hatched to borrow his car while he was away and do work. We had 6 days to get this thing back to his house. We knew it would be a challenge, and we were right. This is the car as we got it. Disassembly was started right away We had plenty of holes to fill and old body work to deal with. The handles got shaved, finished smoothing the taillight mods and shaved the splash pan from lower qtr. panels. We also filled all the trim holes above the belt line At the end of the second full day the primer was shot.
