how to replace chevy window regulator rollers?

    i asssume the old one gets drilled out, that should be easy.

    do i need a special tool to put the new one in? if so where would i get the tool?

    this is for a 50 chevy car

    Hopefully someone will have a precise answer, but from the looks of it the post is basically a flared rivet which once placed through the opening could be spread out by using a ball-pen hammer.

    I just drilled mine out and used the ball peen on the new ones.

    Found this on Ebay 301053628757 meaning that they are probably available though the regular old Chevy trinket vendors.
     
  6. I need to do mine on the 50 Pontiac and thought I'd use a ball bearing and the press. I got mine at Chevs of the 40s.
     
  7. Great advice. A good heavy vise will work well too.
     
  8. Check the tri 5 sites. Look alike. Two hammer repair.
