How to mount side trim?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by drdave, Jun 30, 2008.

  1. I've used search and not found anything useful yet, so looking for suggestions.

Just picked up a set of 56 Buick side trim for my 49 Fleetline and am curious to hear how others have mounted side trim when you don't have the original clips. The previous owner of my chevy put stuff back on with silicone sealer....I'd prefer to do this a bit nicer. ;) My plan is to just digging through the auveco catalog, but thought I would see what someone else has done.

You didn't search very hard. There was a thread on this subject about a week ago, maybe less, that went about 3 or 4 pages.

The overall response was, buy the clips and do it right or don't do it. Definately don't half ass it.

  4. Thanks! I guess I am not a good searcher. I tried all kinds of combinations....clearly didn't pick the right combo. Sorry for wasting the bandwidth.....
