    is a great information/reference site with basics for amost anything.

    I use that site alot when training newhires at work. Specifically, I like the automated model of the 4 stroke engine.

    It really helps explain intake/compression/combustion/ehaust as well as how all the internal parts work together.

    Dude that site rocks, There is a link on there on how to set up your hilborn fuel injection!
    Its also good for Moms and girlfriends alike.

    Howstuffworks is great. I think they're one of the best sources for basic automotive info. A buddy of mine just came across a new site called 3dauto that looks pretty cool as well. It looks like they're pretty new and still working out a few kinks in their site, but they have a lot of info and seem to go a little deeper in their glossary than most sites and have some cool graphics too. http://www.3dauto.com
