How polluted is your car's gene pool?

I was asked at a party over the weekend how I knew to use this or that part in my car. Hell, I didn't figure any of it out... I learned from places like the HAMB. Got me thinking about how innovative hot rod builders are... the experimentation and word of mouth over years and years of swapping this and grafting that to make cars go faster, drive better, be lighter, look better, etc.

What other cars have donated parts to your mongrel?

    My car: 1950 Ford
    Volvo steering box
    Mopar driveshaft
    '70 Torino motor
'66 Ford trans (not much longer)
    '57 Fairlane rearend
    '67 Oldsmobile steering column
    Thunderbird bucket seats
    '67 Beaumont steering wheel
    '53 GMC horn assy

    Hmm... I know there's more...

Right now, my truck is a '54 Chvey with an s-10 tranny and an '87 rear end (disc) with 11" discs up front on a dropped axle.
My roadster is an original frmae that I lengthened, volvo steering box (cowl), '40 Ford front axle with 41-8 drums, banjo rear, driveshaft out of a sprint car, modified aluminum seats out a sprint car, engine and tranny out of an '80's el camino, speedo out of a '35 Ford and most opf the rest has been fabricated by me or Choprods.

The floorpan in my '73 Mercedes is made up of a '57 Chevy trunklid skin, a '72 Mustang Mach 1 trunklid skin, and an NOS '76 LTD door skin. If you get up underneath, it still says Mach 1 on the passenger side. I never buy blank sheetmetal, just recycle whatever's on the scrap pile.

Mine is all Ford ('28-'50) with a smattering of early speed equipment. Kind of boring I guess.
