How old are your tires???

A couple of friends had blow outs in the last few years on road trips. The tires were not super old, but out of the 6 year range. These are both guys who take care of their cars...ones had a shop for 25 years.

They didn't have any injurys, but the one guy was stuck in the fast lane on the 5 fwy.

Both cars suffered damage. One was on a 37 Ford and it messed up the fender , fuel filler, rear tail light. and his trip a bit.

The other fun part is finding a tire size and the brand you want when your in bum fuck egypt.


If you are running old tires keep a close eye on them, especially on trips in hot weather. They will usually start to seperate before they blow.
