would a set of 58 cc iron heads work on a flat top 327, or would it be too much compression? How about a thicker gasket?........ Help. Heads were almost free, and they're new. Most people run 'em on 305's.
To much what??? 327's have the same bore as a 350. Your worried about valve clearance, not compression.
I was told that the small chamber might put me in the 11:1 area with the flat tops. Thats too much for what I'm doin'. Yeah, I gotta check the clearance too. Engine building is not my bright spot.
