@Christie comes to mind but there are others as well. Some you don't are know are female based on their screen name. And don't forget the women who are right there in the garage with their husbands, boy friends, etc. who are everything from just supportive with encouragement/suggestions, $$ or all the way to cutting, grinding, prepping etc.

  4. My old lady is building her own truck, she's learning everyday, and she's been bitten by the upholstery bug. Her plan is to be in the upholstery business 2 years from now. She's a gearhead in every way ;)

  5. We have had several real deal hot rod gal's on the hamb in the past, Denise (hotrodladycrusr) Is the first that comes to mind, she didn't do all the work herself but she drove Big Olds all over the country, she drove that old car topless in some pretty bad weather. HRP

Was, Autoweek closed up a few months back, I now get Road & Track to use up the Autoweek subscription (not my choice). Denise was on here a few weeks ago - She said that it was a good time for her to retire.

You can follow mine in 1946 GMC build. Im building it for Bonneville XO/PP Class with a 302 GMC motor. Gaspumper, Frank Walka is working with me as well as Bob Dauernheim. Bib owns and built the 608 Lakester as well as several other cars. IMG_20201125_154932481_HDR.jpeg

  22. We got this for my fiance this past August. She's not a builder, but I am showing her how to make the changes that she wants so as to make it her own. 56 Ford Customline with '79 351 Windsor and C6 auto. So far she picked the chrome wheels and we replaced the radiator. She also wanted factory fender skirts so a friend gave us a set. One Off Rod and Custom will be painting them to match the pink color. She also wants a set of radial wide whites. Will probably lower it a couple inches too.

  24. Brenda loves hot rods and has helped me on every car I have built in one way or another, she played a huge part in building the Ranch Wagon which is her car and although she didn't do any of the welding she did help turn wrenches, helped sand blast parts in the blasting cabinet, designed the interior and helped with the buffing and waxing. I have to call a younger friend over for “heavy lifting” at times. He always tells me “you need to put your purse in it”

    I guess I qualify;)

Uh Oh...I just realized that I might qualify:eek:

I'm retired and Bonnie is still working...so I do all the housework... laundry, vacuuming, mopping , dusting, cooking, dishes, grocery shopping etc. I have a pony-tail and am old enough (and fat enough) to have moobs.

What the fucks happening to me:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::mad:
