Folks Of Interest how many iowa hambers on here ?

Lake Mills here-- up north between Mason City and Albert Lea. Nice couple of days here, getting the ol' juices flowing, looking forward to some driving this year.

 

Another one here from Cedar Rapids (flood town USA). Hey Hal- I was right across the aisle from you at the Monticello show. I have the blue chopped 36 Ford cabriolet. Love the chop on your Chevy.

 

Your 5W is neat in a non-HAMB friendly sort of way if it's the car I'm thinking of; the front suspension sure is slick.

ah yes the big town of zearing ! you're within about 20 miles of me , our family farm and shop is in the zearing area , st anthony actually !

Your car is sweet... I liked the "cloud" display also. Good to see another Ceadr Rapids member. I am quite surprised at the number of members from Iowa. I figured there would only be a handful but was I wrong..

 

looks like there's quite a few of us ! any thoughts on a meet and greet or little show get together later this summer ? let me know your thoughts and maybee we could plan out sompthin a little centrally located for all of us ! looks like majority is around the cedar rapids , desmoines, pella area ! some where between ! let me know ?

Great to see so many iowans here! Im from the southeast corner, down here in burlington. We need more people to show up for our next hamb meeting! I think there is enough on this post to have a hell of a time!

 

thinking of having a little get together at my shop if enough people show interest , its pretty centrally located just north of marshalltown ! let me know what you guys think and i can plan sompthin out in the near future unless someone has a better idea ! let me know ?

ya i will be there ! unfortunately in one of my muscle cars , dont quite have the rpu back on the road yet !

Which of you guys remembers or owns a Chopped dark Blue '46-'48 Ford Coupe with White pinstripes....Low and skirted...it must be a Burlington car. My Wife and I saw it every time we came to Burlington....it was always just "there" on the streeets.... Last time I actually saw it was at the KKOA Event in Davenport in the early 90's....Centurion9

4th st car show ! theres also a show and shine fri night at the cattle congress ! i like to attend the 4th st show cause they give you a sheet with dates of all the shows and cruise nights for iowa and the surrounding states for the year !

 

Ok, Sounds doable if it doesn't rain. Is it Sat? What time and I assume it's on 4th St in Waterloo?

 

Dirtbag - I can't make it Saturday, but I'd sure like a copy of that sheet you mentioned. is it something you can scan and send?
