Had a few Hemi-Mercs in the neighboorhood when I was a kid....they were done in backyard garages with only gas welding equipment, no air tools, etc.

    It CAN be done....

Here's a crappy picture of my two (a 53 241 red ram, and a 53 331). I had the "night" setting on, and it came out blurry. The red ram's in a 31 roadster.

The 331 is going in this 29...if I can EVER get my tranny adapter.

Well so far we have a total of 61 hemi owners and a total of 125 Hemis.
Can you imagine if they were all in the same place at the same time!!

  13. Interesting... which diameter version bearing retainer?
1323348 is for 1951-1952 Chrysler without a torque converter.

    I've got about nine hemi's myself... all Chryslers. Two 1956 331 marine engines, a 1955 331 car engine, a 1957 354 marine engine, and my secret stash of 1957 392 parts :D

Just got done working on Krooser's blown Hemi, waiting to get somthin' done with mine, 54' 331, short-bell, going in my A coupe. It should be done around the time I'm dead......No I didn't get it to jump on the wagon either.....I'm a MOPAR guy till I'm dead......don't care what body style, gotta have a mopar drive-train, IMHO damn near bullet proof.

  26. 58 392 awaiting to be built to run on fuel someday. Plan is to light it up in the driveway on a stand, watch the header flames, make eyes water, scare neighbors, drink beer, and laugh till the cops show up. Ahh...someday.
