Hot Rods How many Hambers own Black hot rods?

I was taught early on that black is the absence of color,but we still call it a color and it's my favorite shade of paint for a hot rod and I don't think I'm alone,so if you have a black hot rod or a black custom please post a photo.

Yup. I painted over the yellow, ditched the bumpers, and added the chrome spreader bars. Other than that and giving it a bath it’s exactly how Frank had it.

Seems as if the Hot Rods out weigh the Customs by a long shot!

 

I do believe that White is the total absence of color. Black on the other hand is all the primary colors. There may be some deep philosophical meaning here.
I do know if you want black start mixing colors and eventually you'll get some shade of black.

There is just something about black. It looks good on just about everything. I've gone back and fourth with the final color for the F1. It's got to be black.

Au contraire mon ami, In the visible spectrum, WHITE REFLECTS LIGHT, and is not the absence of light. However,BLACK ABSORBS LIGHT and is the ABSENCE OF COLOR. Black can be correctly identified as the visual impression experienced by a person when no light can reach the eye. HRP

Love my black an other black cars too,but if your's is not shiny enough to show all the super colors near it,your missing out big.
