A frame. A rear. Mix of front end parts. A motor. B trans.
Question: this body came with new sides, pictured. Is there supposed to be a sheet metal piece that picks up where I am pointing and covers the side of the subrail back to where the fender starts?
    Thanks,
    Scott

yes it goes all the way around the wooden subframe/ turtledeck floor under the deck....[IMG]what was wrong with your old 1/4's? they looked pretty good ...how come the new 1/4's are so much shorter on the flat area at the very top behind the door?

Actually, Scott, there's a subrail that runs the perimeter of the rear, (roadster and roadster pickup, I'm pretty sure) the roadster's 'bustle', or 'poop deck' fits on top.

Old wuarters were touring with an actual roadster back section grafted in. i think the flat area only goes that far because wood is supposed to come up that far. It was flatter on the original one because it was a touring which would have been flat all the way back but had a crude ‘recess’ put in to look like a roadster. I think the recessed area is where the wood is supposed to be right? Also, the subrails are cut just behind the first cross brace. I got the back part of another set of subrails so I will have to trim accordingly and weld them together. Nailhead, where is that pic from and what the heck are they called? I have been searching for them but didnt know what they were called.
    Thanks,
    Scott

Finally adding pics to this post. Pulled her out the other day while sorting out my shop after winter storage of the summer stuff.
Also picked up a Chevy 250 the other day for her. Tossing the v6 out was in it when I got it. IMG_0817.JPG IMG_0818.JPG IMG_0822.JPG IMG_0820.JPG

It has been awhile since I thought about this thread. Looks like the count is up to about 225 or so. If you have a T and haven't posted, please do. It looks like we number about one tenth of the model A owners. I wonder how many Model T's have survived to date? Weren't the production totals something like 15 million T's and 5 million A's? WWII must have wreaked havoc on Model T population.
