    My stable includes:

    2004 Ford F150 FX4
    1987 Monte Carlo SS
    1931 Model A roadster project
    1973 Triumph Tiger 750 5 speed
1930 Model A roadster (current project)
    1931 Model A Tudor Sedan.

The two roadsters are the only ones that aren't driven on a daily/weekly basis.

We probably should start a different thread entitled,
"How Many Project Cars Do You Have?"
    Running & Driving:
    74 Chevy Nova 2 Door
    41 Chevy Pickup
    99 GMC Suburban
Ugly Daily Driver 84 Toyota Corolla - 31-32 MPG - 45 mile commute 1 way
    90 Toyota 4x4 Pickup
    Almost Done:
    64 Impala SS
    57 GMC Big Window
    74 Chevy Pickup (Shop Truck)
71 Ford 2 door Hardtop - Bought for $75, Bought because it was cheap!
    Project Cars:
56Plymouth Belvedere 2 Dr. Club Sedan
    46 Hudson Pickup
46 Hudson 2 door - parts for above, but not a bad car.
55 Mercury Montclair 2 Dr Hardtop - For Sale
42 Chevy Sedan Delivery - Rough but could be so cool
    28 Model A 2 Door for Tub Project ( Bad Top )
    58 Chevy Biscayne
    (2) 60 Biscaynes for parts
    64 Bel Air for parts
    3 Other Junkers for parts

The list is too long, but I keep dreaming of getting them driveable

Rule #1 No such thing as too many.

Rule #2 never enough storage space - see rule #1 for explanation.

Rule #3 If rule #2 does not apply then fill up available storage space to comply with rule #2.

Rule #4 None of the above probably apply if you are married.

Reality says "you have more projects than you have building years left". Brain says "you're probably right, but I am sick and happy in my denial - leave me alone. I do not want to sell any of them. They will have to be surgically removed from me!":D

15 vehicles 1933-1940 of which 4 running, 2 more nearly done, and 1958 Chrysler - nearly finished - been 'nearly finished' since 2005.

Simple: I have more than I need, but less than I want.

'31 Ford coupe (a mess of a project)

'52 Ford Customline sedan (freebie project)

    '56 F100 panel truck (friggin' career :D)

'64 Buick Skylark two door hardtop (beater)

'70 Chevelle coupe (mullet mobile/stagnated project)

And most recently, my girlfriend's '69 Triumph project.

Of course, I'm not counting the two daily drivers...

You know, in most circles I've got way too many cars/projects but around here I'm swimming in deep water.

    Mine:
    1962 Impala 4-dr hardtop - daily driver
    1986 Chevy C-10 - sometimes driver
1966 Plymouth Satellite - my hot rod, eternal project and very seldom a driver
    1959 JD440ID tractor 2-53 Detroit Diesel
1951 Minneapolis Moline UT - working on it
    2006 Chevy truck - Momma's ride

    1/2 Mine - 1957 Cadillac Coupe Deville

    Dad's
    1955 Ford Customline
    1968 Charger R/T
    1966 Charger hemi
    1969 RR
1962 Dodge Dart - drag car
1968 Dodge Dart GTS - drag car
    1970 Challenger R/T - drag car
1966 Plymouth Sport Fury 383/4 spd - pretty serious project

Three - wish they were all rods. You can never have too many. The unused ones also serve as "yard art"

  7. 2014 3/4 ton Cargo Van ( Daily driver)
2004 XJR Supercharged Jaguar. Aluminum bodied.
    1993 XJ6 Jaguar ( Wifes daily driver)
1989 GTA Trans Am Convertible with factory 350. ( 1 of 50 made)
1982 Sturgis Harley davidson ( Limited edition but customized)
1976 Silverado 454 Chevy 3/4 ton pick up.
1974 Corvette Convertible 454 ( one of around 360 made)
1968 Firebird Coupe that I just have fun with. ( 12 second 1/4 on pump gas) 11s nitrous. Stock non ported heads. 400 cid.
1968 Firebird Coupe 400 that I bought in 1979 and have restored twice. (536,000+ miles on it so far).
1968 Firebird Convertible 400 4 sp. (For frying tires and for show.)
1963 Honda Super Cub C115 motorcycle
    1953 Belair Hardtop "FULL KUSTOM"
    1936 Ford 5 window coupe.
1929 Willys Whippet 3 window coupe (1952 Hemi power)
Do people see something weird? Every decade of car from the 20s to new except 1940s. I never planned this but if I could sell a couple I'd buy a 1940 Ford Truck.

Not too hard... I have 3 contemporaries:
(Got rid of one just yesterday...)

    2003 Toyota Tundra (for hauling, 'spare transportation, etc..);
2007 Honda Accord (my daily driver)
2008 Honda CRV (wife's daily driver)

    And three collector vehicles:

    1946 Hudson Pickup (Condition #3, my 'Blue Goose');
    1946 Hudson Pickup (Condition #4 - In shop, becoming a resto-mod);
    1939 Hudson Pickup (Condition #4, gathering parts & awaiting restoration)*;

If you count the 'rolling frame/chassis' I recently acquired (frame & complete drivetrain, but no sheetmetal), then I also have the remains of another 1947 Hudson Pickup...

*The '39 is a pretty rare truck - Less than 10 known to exist, in any condition. Luckily, most of the parts for the same 'series' of Hudson cars will work/fit the truck...

You can never have too many cars. You just need a bigger garage.

    But I do have 6 trucks & 1 SUV. ;)

  21. Been thinning the herd out: 63 Riviera, 54 Plymouth 2 door wagon (phantom sedan delivery), 54 Dodge Town Panel, 37 International D2 shortbed pickup and alas the 2008 toyota minivan (I moonlight as soccer dad) and my wifes 2005 Yukon Denali...always trolling for more

I shared my list above, and concluded at the time that maybe I was spending too much time managing parts cars instead of working projects, so I decided to reduce the count a little.

One is gone, and another will be very soon.
    1951 Chevy 5-window (gone)
    1953 GMC 2-ton (going to a friend)

Another will be scrapped soon so only the usuable parts will remain here. Anything worth having that I'm not going to use already went on craigslist.
    1989 Chevy K3500

And one of my drivers is for sale as is my son's project car.
    1972 Chevy C10 (for sale)
    1976 Cadillac (for sale)

Of course as all this is going on I've also found a '57 Chevy Bel Air wagon that I have to own. So 22 take away 5 add 1.

    Maybe 18 is just right...

a couple of those diesel dodge trucks, and some newer stuff nobody cares about. I thought you can't have too many cars, just not enough room. I have a couple buddys that have well over 100 cars each, and they have the room and the money to keep up a fleet like that. I'm amazed every time the brakes work on one of my old 50's mopars. That's when you know you have too many cars, when half of them drive but don't stop anymore.
