We have had this 64 falcon futura since 1965 , so I guess thats about 45 years. It's being rebuilt now and will make a trip from Idaho to NC. ,as we gave it to our daughter. Not a poplar car when it was new compaired to mustangs, vets,t-birds gto's ect. but are getting hard to find now. Glad I kept this one and kept it up.

My wife bought this 63 Vette in 68 for $1,200, had to get a 3 year note on it! Has 47,000 miles today. When I met her the car still had a Playboy sticker on the rear bumper and the "fuzzy" dice hanging off the rear view mirror. [IMG]

Got the '32 5w in '72 so I guess we're about 37-8 years. Have had over 200 cars since I was 16 (I'm 65 now) and the '32 is the only one I'll NEVER get rid of.

My Shoebox, little over 42 years..My Comet not quite 39 years, bought new in fall of 71'...My 71 Sears Tractor, since 76' = 34 years....just had to mention as I've pushed, pulled, blown snow, mowed grass, rolled it twice [yep, my fault] and otherwise abused it..Rebuilt stock 12hp when I got it and got 27 years before repowering with 16hp...Like putting a big block in...

  12. '66 Coronet 500 hardtop. Second owner. Bought in April 1980. Still have it. Will probably be buried in it, too.

  13. Hell, once I'm done with a project, I drive it around, work the bugs out of it, and then get bored and sell it. It'll be different with this project, though (29 Model A pickup)...
But then, I've been saying that for over 40 years now...

I thought that I'd had Clarence for a long time, but several above have had theirs longer. I bought Clarence in February, 1973. Therefore 37 years.

I bought my OT sport car in '72. So whats that?...38 years? Fired it up again last year, still sounds pretty good. But it deserves better. Its' turned into a shelf again.

We still have the '57 Chevy I drove in high school. Kailua '75. 35 years? Oh man, I never counted before. I'm old. I better go lay down.
