We have what I have concluded are 28 fluted lenses, when I went to put them in our lights, they seem to small? Were the 28 lights a different size than the 29-31 headlights? thanks RustyNCA
The lights say Ford TwoLight on them, I think they are stainless? They measure 9" across the front. The lenses have vertical flutes and have the Ford script on the top. Right now the lights have new sealed beam bulbs in them, but I don't like how they look. They have some thing they bolt into that seems to hold them in the old light buckets. Thanks RustyNCA
Some of the Model A parts purveyors have pretty good photos and inf on their replacement lenses. I'd check those sources first. There are photos of the early and late lenses on here if you scroll down the page. http://www.mikes-afordable.com/page/MFP/CTGY/1074 One above the other on this page. http://www.brattons.com/prodtype.as...ition=41&ph=&strKeywords=&&strSearchCriteria= Better photos on this page. http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/modelaparts/headlight lots of info on that page. Since I bought my 31 Vic I've spent a lot of time on Model A sites.
T's also had a fluted lens. Those lights are smaller than A's. Orignal A headlights from 28-29 were not stainless. You may have 30-31 buckets, and I believe the lenses are different.
Cool, thanks, went and looked at Snyder's. Looks like I have a nice set of Model T lenses...... That explains alot. Anyone want to buy a set....
