I sold my '29 coupe and part of the deal is I get to keep the original trans which is still in the car. I thought all I had to do was remove the collar over the U-joint and it would slide right out but that is not the case. Am I missing something here, why won't the tranny come forward? Is mine just stuck? I figured I'd better ask the experts before I get too frustrated, I don't have much experience with torque tubes.

  2. You have to pull the rear end or the engine. I can't tell if the engine is still in the car. If it's out, then the trans is just stuck on the U joint. Hook a come along to the trans and the front crossmember and give it a few cranks
