How do you seal around the brake and clutch peddles?

My brake peddle swings thru the lower firewall in a slot. What is the best way to seal water etc. out?

 

piece of rubber with a slit cut in it.

 

There was a thread with ideas a few months ago.

Try a hamb search with these words .. clutch brake pedal seal...if that does not get it, try; clutch brake pedals seal.
