    What's the VIN? If you ain't got one, they will issue you one and you will own a 2009 Model A. Walk out the door before it's too late.

    Vin on frame is A3827428 with a star on either side. Body is a 30 or 31 for sure though.

    1930 had split aprons. The only year.The radiator shell for 31 was stamped and painted both top and bottom. the numbers run from 4237501 to 4830806.
    in 1931 there were 5,449 standard roadsters.And 52,997 deluxe roadsters built.
    The deluxe came with cowl lights ,rumble seat and lower windshield.

  7. There are almost no differences and in the case of your roadster the differences are probably gone;
    1930 had an all stainless grille shell
    1931 had a painted insert with a Ford Logo

    1930 Had 2 piece running boards aprons, 1931 were one piece.

    Early 30 had a 28-9 style gauge cluster with the oval speedo, June of 30 & 31 had the later style with the round speedo.

    That's it for exterior, other than a slight firewall change at the fuel line in late 31.

    VIN on frame is for sure a 1930
