maybe sooner if i pick up a new project.

If your garage is too clean, it just means you aren't working hard enough. If it's too dirty, you're just a messy worker.

  6. Sic944t, I really dig that spreader bar on your ride!
As for me, if a clean garage is the sign of a sick mind, I am one very healthy sumbitch! I hope to get the permits and stuff to tear mine down and put up a real garage with a real floor in it. Right now all I can say about mine is, the walls hold up the roof, kinda. I've got a dirt floor with used wall to wall carpet over it to keep the dust down. And I have 17 years of acumulated SHIT in there too. Where can a guy get a bulldozer rented cheap?LOL

i'm buying the house i grew up in from my folks. my old man had a 32x50' shop. he left me his mess when he moved. i'm still trying to get it cleaned out to use. theres 3 cars in it now. oh and i have been here for 4 years. ok i need to clean the shop now. i'll think about pics. theres fam and friends on here that have walked the line in the shop. i think the old mans new shop will have work benchs and shelves that dump it on the floor when you turn out the lights. keep it form getting as bad as the old shop.

  13. Here's one of my shop 2 years ago. 40X30 car storage, the other 20X40 is woodworking.

I sold the 51 Sedan but also added other cars since this photo. Lower right includes the 60 Vette & a 66 Vette convert. Over the woodworking shop is 2nd floor full of Model A sheetmetal.
I barely have room to work on one car at a time.

    Movin/on

  16. Looks like it's time to clean again... This is what it looked like Sunday night about 8:30 pm... Most of the stuff in the foreground is my landlords, I just move it when I need something big to get in or out.

Mine is not too bad, but need to juggle my cars around to get another one in there, besides the wife's car.

In all I will have 7 cars in there, along with bike and ride on lawn mower.

Don't ask how I do it with a 3 car garage, but I do it! Engineering mentality of mine.

I built a 24 X 36 garage 5 years ago. It has an attic for storage also. Problem is I have the "finished" car and the project car in the same shop. Tools everywhere and very little time. When I am not traveling for my job, I work in a few hours of shop time and I do not like to spend that cleaning up. It is time to clean up when I can not find a 9/16 wrench. I have about 8 of them so when they are all scattered and not in the tool bix, it is time to clean up. Oh well, I got to go now, I hear Sears is having a sale on 9/16 wrenches and I need to pick up a few.

Mine isn't too cluttered, just, um, "crowded" I'm starting a new project and my measuring tape tells me if i push my '40 truck back all the way and move the '46 Chevy all the way to one side I can put my frame table in front of the truck and still have access to three side of it!! That puts it right in front of the furnace too...:D

I have a serious garage problem. I don't have enough of them, and the few I do have do not have enough space at all. I have cars so crammed together its impossible to be able to get in and start them up every once in a while so for the past 2 years since I've bought my house and moved some here I haven't had a chance to start some - and thats not good....

I have an addiction to buying cars. Buying them, making them mind condition and storing them. I don't really have time to drive them so once they are finished I put a cover over them and call it a day. I'm 23 years old and ever since I was a kid living with my parents I always would bring home toy after toy until it got too much and they said ' we dont have room for all of these ! ' so I moved out,, 16 years old and got a condo and rented garages.. finally found the right house and its filled. But I still want more cars !! ugh!

I have to leap over 5 mint, finished cars to get to the fuse box. So I decided its time to re-arrange.. Here is last years pic

A total mess of clutter. Thats the back of the garage you're facing. The front is near where I was standing infront of some other cars, and a matching large power door. 2 driveways, so 2 doors. A smaller garage is in the rear, its full of cars aswell. This garage pictured is attached to my home, is heated, insulated, full attic, drains in floors, etc. Was built about 4 years ago I believe. Its more of a showroom, but its too crammed.

I don't really work on my cars here so I really do not need tools/work space, but I do anyways. A lot of these cars I am wanting to sell so I may list them soon. Triumph, a few Mercedes, etc. To make room for some more valuable to me cars but can only sell one every few months or so.

Heres a more updated pic, but not completely... these are still outdated

Its just ridiculous in there and I need to find out a better way to keep cars. Does it look like a lift would fit (ceiling)? and be able to store one car on top one under? But wouldn't that create a problem where the lift legs are..?

This isnt all the cars either I cant even fit them if I owned the entire street of houses... I really need to buy a large building... !!

Hi. I have the correct flag per make of automobile that I own. For the Swedish flag, it represents the many Saabs/Volvos I own.

Boy I can feel that pain. We lost our house and shop to a tornado Aug 07. Most of the parts I had for my shoebox are spread over the county. The car got moved about 80 feet and the roof is caved in. Lost a few parts for the stude too. The house is better than new and the barn is a little bit bigger but its still not finished. When the weather warms up (7 degrees now) the electrical will get run and we'll start insulation and drywall. By the time I get back to working on cars again it will have been 2 years plus.
