That is a wicked chop, reminds me of Cal Tanaka's coupe? You are well on your way to a very tough coupe, keep after it.

Thanks Chuck. I really like your cars also. I'm currently getting ready to start on my '36 Ford phaeton that I've owned and stored inside since the 60's. I'm looking for a 3" chopped w/s frame and stanchions for it.......Mike

Thanks for liking the coupe , Tom Prufer did a great job building it 25 years ago. In fact he has built so many bitchin hot rods through out the years its hard to know where to begin this conversation. Tom is the hero.
I on the other hand, am not a hero by any means, I am just a regular guy that got real lucky.
    Thanks Again

Here's mine. It was a real turd. Bottom 6" replace all around, cowl had been yanked with a tractor and separated at the posts. Chopped 3.5", wish I went more at times especially after seeing the the 5" chopped one above.

Favorite 33/34's in no particular order
    Vinthers 3 window
    Copshopcoupe.
    Cal Tanaka's coupe
    Both P&J cars

    Hey Arnnz,
I really like the profile of your coupe body ( really like how far back the "A" piller is tilted ), who makes it ?

Hi there, thanks for that, I used to build fiberglass ford 32 and 34 coupes a few years ago. Did one 34 body for myself to do a coupe similar to the Pierson Brothers. So layed back the "A" pillar as far as the law will let me to be street legal and chopped the rest to suit and I think it has come out pretty good , next stage is the bonnet and grille and doors. I have a Kurtis Kraft fiber grille surround which will be lengthened and widened to suit the 34 bonnet and sides.

Here is my effort so far. A 1933 roadster hiboy. I know, glass but everything else is real. Maybe a body will come along and I will swap it out. Anyone have an extra 33/34 real roadster they would sell?
I am enclosing a second photo of a local car that is killer. My dream 34 roadster for sure!

75 years old and still going strong!

Well, now I'm in with this. Swapped the coupe for it. It needs some traditionalizing. Is that a word????

  26. Count me in! I've got mine torn up all over the workshop -- but I'm making progress. Took me 2.5 years to complete the engine (392 blown hemi), am now starting on the frame/suspension. Just about have the frame jig completed so I can fab the whole frame (ASC rails). Here are a couple pictures when I started to tear it down - was my "drag car" 25 years ago.

There is a site for 34 fords called 34 ford streetrods but one here on the HAMB sounds good too. Here is mine. New steel from Steve's Auto in Portland, OR. with original frame, title and plate. With a Carson style top added it looks old school.:)

Mine, all steel, SBF, loved 'em ever since the early 60's when I used to go with my Dad to the jalopy races in Gardena at Western Speedway...
