How to you fellas get the pics so large. My pic upload kept saying file too large so I just kept down sizing until I got one that would upload but as you can see it is much smaller than some of the above. Thanks - - - Fourdy
Here's a pic of my 40 pickup, oh Im sorry that would be my wifes 40, gotta throw that in there so I can keep buyin parts for it.
My crappy pic is in the avitar. It's a '40 Dlx. cpe. with a '56 Olds engine. It is a work-in-progress.
Just bought this beauty last week. Bodywork is complete, new floors, new TCI chassis...ready for paint and reassembly.
No, I bought it in Poughkeepsie. NY where it had been all its life. It was originally Folkstone Grey from the factory.
Thanks for the response. I've always wondered about a particular '40 DeLuxe Coupe that went to Florida from Newport, Tennessee about that same time frame.
My avatar is mine----#5. Two 4doors, two 2doors and a Deluxe coupe. The coupe was my high school car.
bought this one this spring, an old build, velour interior, Detroit NSRA Nats '82 dash plaque found under carpet, paint in really poor shape but wife and I have put over 1000 miles on it since we got it.
This is mine, only had it for a few months. We drove the car on the first 3 stops of the Hot Rod Power Tour.
I've had this 40 Tudor Deluxe since January this year. Bought here in Aussie. Was advertised in the HAMB mid 2013. I'm trying to find out early information as to its origins, supposedly Ca. mid 50's.then moved to Oregon in the early 60's.shown & cruised and then stored in 1978. Has a '56, 322 nailhead under the hood, original ET mag's up front and gold painted steel wheels with MT slicks on the rear.Upholstered with Black naugahyde diamond pattern upholstery with silver buttons. Has remnants of a '56 Indianopolis Drags Entrants sticker on rear window. Stock suspension & brakes.I suspect it was street rather than strip dragster. Although no wiring apart from ignition, or exhausts connected except steel tube headers exiting the fenderwell. I would dearly like to have further information, should anyone be old enough to remember this car.
This is ours, we've had it 8 1/2 years. I drive it almost every day unless there's snow or ice on the roads.
Guess I'll crash the party too. 39'DeLuxe sat for 45 years, Santa brought it last year. Fixed hung valve, brake job and new tires, been driving it all summer! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
