Found an old one from Phoenix -03, a friend’s 57.
As much as I love Chevys and Pontiacs, you got to keep a Ford mill in one of these.. A 406/427 would be sooooo nice..

In 1957 were some Ford models longer then others?
The 300 custom was shorter than the Fairlane in 57 & 58
Custom, Custom 300, Ranchero and station wagons were 116' wheelbase. Fairlane's and all the rest were 118' wheelbase.
boy does that paint ever pop. Orange over white or what. love it.
didnt this one belong to a nice looking woman? IIRC it had a 427 too....
Thisone was inspired by the Rod&Custom article from the 60's
One more angle from when it was first completed.
Recently picked up this 1957 Fairlane 500 2 Dr Sedan. 292 Y block with Automatic. Needs dropped in the weeds BAADD
A few more pictures of my favorite 57 ford, take on the return road at rt66 drag strip.
