Thanks but I grinded it off.
Is the tilt front all steel? I'd really love have some details on the tilt mechanism and how everything is fastened together.
Haney Swap Meet today, beauty day!
Just was listening to glory days as I saw this picture...good luck
Sorry Lee, The picture is misleading. The front is not tilt it's laying on a mattress. But I would like to know how too.
Upgrading to power steering in the 58. I'm going the route of a Borgeson. It's a direct bolt up to the frame in existing holes. The car has a FE 390 with headers.
Now in one of the pictures you can see the clearance with the headers. Plenty of room. In the other picture I show how close to the firewall. There is no rag joint in our application. They have us use a sleeve.

Take a very close look at the speedo.....
Actual print from a 57 Ford Dealership hand out.I can say this.I have worked very closely in print production in the big 3. and if it was printed. it had to go through many many eyes before approval to press. Why they scaled back the speedo is anyones guess.Insurance issues?, Upper management made a decision after the fact..? at any rate... never seen one ...ever.
