I was just thinking of HAMBers that have not heard from. I remember the word was she made some great chocolate chip cookies. what ever happened to her? dirt t
Yes , got a pic from my brother of her in the Olds just last week at the Hines cruise in Mich (he doesn't know her, just sent me pics from the cruise)
I remember one of her road trips when I first moved to Arizona she broke down . I think it was Grand Canyon. Thanks for the update. Terry aka dirt t
I tried it chip to confusing. Being an old fart I could not understand it. Sent from my SM-G900V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Not to hijack the thread but what happened to chevy girl rox, Denise used to hang out with her. Guessing facebook too.
Denise and Megan were staples of the HAMB,nicest ladies you would ever meet..I had the privilege of treating them to supper one night at the Roundup in Austin..
I see Megan posting on Instagram under the name CARGIRLMEG. She married Matt her long time boyfriend. I just dropped a link to this thread to Denise. She is going on vacation soon so it might be a while. The trips from Denise and Megan were classic...........there was also a great trip thread from Brian Bass driving from Dallas to Seattle to Bonneville and back to Dallas in his model A coupe
I remember her post about her job not letting her have HAMB access during working hours anymore. Right after that she went silent, she must be getting much more work done now. I always kind of thought that to be funny, like she had no access to Internet outside of work.
I dropped her a note............I think she was humbled..........she said she would jump on later today and say hello
Back in the early days of the Hamb it was mandatory to post a introduction and you still might get figuratively beaten to a pulp but that's the way it was. Denise was the very first person to welcome me to the hamb and I have loved her ever since that time. I finally met Denise and her dad in Knoxville,Tennessee several years ago and she was exactly the kind of person in real life as is her on line persona. I miss her being a regular contributor here on the hamb but I suspect her real job doesn't offer the luxury to spend her free time here anymore. The late Deuce Roadster (Randy Nash),Denise and yours truly. HRP
You got that right Don! And she has driven hundreds of miles in the driving rain topless ~ as in no top on Big Olds you perverts. HRP
First time I met her was in Frankenmuth, MI at Autofest...which is going on this weekend! Great lady, first class hot rodder and just the nicest person in the world.
The trip threads from Denise and Megan were the best part of the HAMB for many years! I sure miss those two.
