I just watched this taking a break from the garage...it was truly moving...now I'm taking my happy ass with a tear in my eye back to garage... Excellent work!
Very nice! I'm sure I wasn't the only one who didn't immediately realize I was watching NEW footage. I have some Tri-X film stored in the basement. I HAD a really nice Panasonic Super-8 camera, but my buddy LOST it years ago. I forget the model number, but it was one kickin' camera. I'm happy that you are still shooting on Super-8!
Very damn cool. This could be the opening scene to the full length HAMB Drags documentary (that only exists in my head). After you finish talking, Ministry "Jesus Built My Hotrod" cranks up...
what i wanna know is....is there gonna be a part 2?? I think this thread pretty much shows that we want some more of this sometime in the future.
One comment, at the end, he doesn't have to explain it to us! You could have left it at "he'll tell you it's a hot rod"
dope...its not dead...just keep em simple, and cool...theres a reason the old hot rod style hasnt gone away...really there is....and im not talkin flat black... real old style cars...there still around...becasue ther e is a certain innocens that really grasps the soul.... that grabs a part of you and pulls you out from in front of your dell and turns off that nokia and says, hey, im still here...im still around... and you do your thing... its not your retarded pomp, or cuffed jeans that makes it cool or leopard print or flat black whatever, its your burned out work jeans and singed hair and angry wife ( i wish i had an angry wife) that make it worth it... now thats cool...
HOLY SHIT!! I didnt read all the post on this clip, I'm only going to make my opinion know. it was completely AWESOME!! I loved it, you should make full length feature films!!! a job well done, looking foreward to the next one already !!
