I'm 27. I've been into old cars since I got my license. My old man was a car nut back in the day, and didn't want me to get into it. It happened anyway. I had a few old rides then I hit some hard times for a while and didn't have much to show for it. Now I've got a really clean non-HAMB-friendly '66 Coronet and am working on starting something traditional. I love vintage cars and most things vintage.

I'm 33 and its either in your veins or it isn't. I didn't get a chance to get into cars until after I graduated college and got a job that allowed me to pay for a place to park things. I have a house and a wife that compete for my time but I look at the few hours I get in the garage as therapy.

That pickup looks familiar-was it in a rod and custom mag a little while back along with two other traditional rods on the salt?

I'm 34 been hot rodding since I was in dypers. slowed down when I had 4 children and bought a house. back at it again with a 48 plymouth a 454 and a blower, a 30 tudor with a flaty, and a 95 saturn with a tuneport. glad the rat rod came becaues with santa and bills my cars won't look like the high dollar ones for a wile. Having three toys in the garadge don't help neither but i'm addicted to the Hot Rods.

Peace, and live your dreams .There not out of reach if you belive in them.

I'm 38, but have been driving old cars since I was 15.
Never had a car newer than 20 years old, mostly much older.

Hey! Why yes it was on the cover of Rod and Custom on Feburary 2009. It was a great photo shoot, amazing experience for a 19 year old on the salt.

I'm 22 and more of a "car guy" than a "hot rodder" i guess. I have a 1967 chevy c-10 lowered with billet wheels and all that, a 1931 ford tudor street rod with a traditional theme, and am building a 32 chevy coupe hot rod. Seems like most guys around my age are into camaros, mustangs, and chevelles though...except you guys of course!

Yeah, I'm finishing my senior year at high school, I always loved the old American Iron. My dad and my uncle were into cars back in the '60s, so was my track coach (pretty much he lived American Graffiti), so you could say I "came up right." I saved my nickels and dimes and finally got my 1964 Olds Ninety-Eight, it's got the 394 Sky Rocket, and that motor got me hooked on classic Olds Rockets. Someday I'll soup up another 394 and stick it in a '36 Ford coupe or whatever I can find. However, like another guy said I'm off to college in a little bit, so this may have to wait...
    Cool thread!
