    1947 Los Angeles - Muni Court Judge Brand pushes through a city ordinance that offers 'Traffic Violator' windshield sticker as an alternative to 'jail' for repeat traffic violators.

    large group of young hot-rodders mill through jail doors are they are processed after sentencing. The photo caption reads: "35 "Hot-Rod" drivers get jail sentences. Shown above are some of the 35 young "hot-rod" driving enthusiasts who were sentenced today to five days in jail each. All of the drivers lost their licenses for 30 days. Officer Harold Nenny, background, holds the drivers' suspended licenses (arrow). The young drivers were accused of holding regular weekly "meets" along Sepulveda boulevard near San Fernando road".     those pictures have been on the hamb many times but there always cool to look at again the stickers are cool but did you notice how the battery mounted to the frame

    Interesting pic's. The car in the first pic doesn't need a windshield sticker to let everyone know that it's a "Traffic Violator".
