I was watching Antique Road Show on PBS earlier this morning, and someone was showing a "very old" BUDDY L '25-'27 Ford gravel hauler that looked to be about 1/8-1/6 scale size.... It was such in great shape, the appraiser said it was worth anywhere between $3,000-$3,500 bucks! Wow! .. Anyone here have a picture of that truck????
got an old crank dump truck by Buddy L but it's value is more like 400. a cement truck + a couple of old fire trucks
Got this one recently. Does anyone know what it is-can't find any info. Runs on centrifugal force, gear driven by one of the rear wheels. Thanks.
Thanks for the picture of the Flexi Racer... I had one of those when I was a kid. I never seen another one or a a picture of one until you posted the old ad. We would drench the axles in 3n1 oil and that would really make it fly. You could get hurt real fast on this thing, but we survived.
Got my little brother's Flexi up in the garage rafters. He tried to wear it out 40 years ago and couldn't. Dad was going to toss it, but I rescued it just because I used to love to watch Jim run the shit out of it around our circle driveway.
So are there any new hot rod toys being made in this vein? Folks with young children want to know... -Dave
