    My ‘Sports-Rod’ I’ve just about finished:

    Based off a ‘47 Riley chassis, power is from an early 260 5-bolt Cobra engine feeding a T5 transmission and Atlas rear axle.

    Engine in place. Tight fit but it goes. Radiator is from a Ford 5000 tractor - inlet and outlet pipes are spot-on size and location-wise. Edelbrock manifold and 650cfm carb.

    Cockpit - ally bomber seat, original steering wheel and mish-mash of instruments I had lying about. Tacho is a Jag item recalibrated to suit a V8. Gearknob is Merc 280SL.

    Bonnet straps - the price of ‘off the shelf’ items was terrifying so I made these from bits off eBay. I’m disproportionately pleased with them.
