The Devin posts remind me of when I worked for a small business in the early 80's, the owner of the business (Gene) had a friend named, Bill as I recall, but he just called him by his last name, Devin. They were long time buddies from school. Typical So Cal beach area guys, were always going surfing or fishing. Devin used to come by the shop all the time to hang out. One day Gene asked me if I ever heard of Devin sports cars. Devin? At that time no I hadn't heard of them. So he tells me about Devin's dad, how he built these fiberglass bodied sports cars that ran American V8 engines and they were well known hot rod sports cars, they were branded with is last name, Devin. He told me about them taking the cars out from time to time, and at least one road trip that involved a top speed run across the southern California desert. It was years later when I learned more about the Devin sports cars and how special they really were.

I thought I'd post up my Old Yeller pics, taken at an open house at Jimmy Shines shop in Orange CA.
I just had my cel phone with me, and I had to work around a crowd, so these aren't the greatest pics, but I was able to get some detail shots that you don't see very often, if ever.

Seen other Woodill Specials on this post. Trying to learn how many exist, certainly less than 50. This is my '53 Wildfire/Dodge Special ('53 241 + 0.060 Hemi, 2X2, 5 sp T5, and more).
