It’s Smokin Hot Rollpan Season Once Again at Bengels
We have been receiving an unusually high number of calls in reguards to when our next run of rollpans would be? As many of you know we only build these a few times a year and only when we can squeeze them into our work schedule. For all those who are already on the build list we will be confirming this to you in email form as well. For all you late comers we build only for orders placed. No extras sitting on the shelves! Our goal is to provide a unique, high quality, yet classic rollpan to finish off your ride. We designed this to look as if it should of been on the original Model A Ford. We like to point out that Henry was a cheap ole cuss and totally forgot to add it at the time to his prized Model A’s. If he had of we are certian he would of even been more successful in the number of cars sold! Ours are the only “A” rollpans the market with mirror bead lines and fully radiused corners, or any bead lines for that matter. Our reviews have been outstanding and reaching far outside of the states.

We will be taking orders on these for about 3 weeks. With the first orders leaving by the 10th of August. If you've been thinking rollpan at all now just might be the time to pull the trigger on one. I will link the prior post on the info. Here.

So this is what Bengels is offering the Hamb Members... And only the Hamb members!

Our 18 gage sheet metal roll pans are available in a Hot Rod Smooth finish, or with the body lines added for a more traditional look.

For fendered cars the wheel radius on the body is extended from the top to bottom of Roll pan end allowing the fender to match up nicely to the roll pan.

For fender-less cars an extended skirt finishes off the side view of the roll pan. Pan skirts extend from the front of the roll pan to just aft of the axle, and can be easily trimmed shorter if needed. The skirts are sold as a pair and are an option. Roll pan skirts need to be tack welded into place by the end user as all cars of this vintage are slightly different in fit.

We have close to a hundred of these roll pans now and we think we have them down pretty well. As always each pan is hand built to your order. We open up deposits for pre orders about 4 times a year depending on how busy we stay with the seats, this determines how and if we can bump up our roll pan production. Maybe, just maybe not flooding the market and keeping them unique and special is a good thing?

All pans have 3 each 1/4-20 nutserts installed on the top edge of the roll pan and a pre punched hole on each end for a mounting bolt. Matching holes will need to be drilled on the underside lip of your pan mounting surface. Mounting hardware is included. Or weld it on as many do for a permanent option.

    Hamb-O-Dex Pricing is...
Smooth pans run $___.00 plus Shipping and handling
    Bead lined pans run $___.00
Side skirts run $___.00 for the set for fenderless rides.
    Plus Shipping and Handeling

Right now delivery for pre orders is two weeks and orders after today is about 4 weeks after receipt of order, but be sure to double check with us prior to ordering as these are only built as time allows. If interested contact me with your zip code and I can get shipping costs sent to you.

    WERE MOVING!
Whats the old saying “Change is Opportunity”
Over the years we’ve made a couple of moves always to better suit our business plan and to better serve our customers. It’s time to do it once again. This time we’re packing up the San Diego facility and moving it to beautiful Licking Missouri. There are several advantages to moving but for the most part this will help with our shipping consistency by re-locating closer to the central United States. The move will also allow us to continue to be cost competitive while holding down uncontrollable, run away overhead costs. Nothing will change other than the seat frames will be built and shipped to you from MO. opposed to CA. Escrow is just now closing on the new location and we are looking to be completely operational in Missouri by the first of 2019. Until then we are working as usual in San Diego and hope to discuss your HotRod seating needs with you soon.
    Thanks again, Bob

Looking forward to spending more time here on the HAMB! Just joined one of the local car clubs here in Licking Missouri and anxiously awaiting the Hwy 63 Car Club’s event of the year. From what I here they get quite a draw from nearby communities to this annual car show.

But enough of that for now... It always puts a smile on my face when out of the blue I receive a message like the one I got this morning from Rich Scheller.

    Bob,

I know that it has been two years, but the body shop is not real fast. I don’t have the interior done yet so I cannot show you your seat finished yet, but here is the rear rolled pan you built for me. Everybody in the body shop asked where I got the rolled rear pan. I think that it looks great, could not have done it without your help. Gives a more finished look to the Model A rear end. Thanks Again!
The second picture is the car coming home from the body shop.
    Rich

Thanks Rich for starting my day off right!

Early Thirty Down and Dirty Blazing Hot & Humid Summer Offer

MODEL A’s and DUECE SEAT FRAMES
    OFFER Starts July 25, 2019
    ENDS September 6, 2019
We have decided to do another production run as its been for ever since we last made this offer avaliable.
We are excited as this will be our first HAMB offer extended from our new location in “The Humidity” belt! We aint in So Cal no mo!

"Early Thirty Down and Dirty Blazing Hot & Humid Summer Offer”
    Details...
These seat frames will be only offered on the Hamb O dex and they will be based on the Model A & 32 Ford Bench Seat Frame measurements. They are our Retro Style flip back bench seats only. It should be noted that they will also fit nicely in a wide variety of vehicle of the early 30's era.

    Our standard Model A measurements:
42" across the top of the back panel
37.5" across the front of the bottom panel
18.5" deep on the bottom panel
25" from floor to top of the seat back. (In straight the up position)
5" Thick ride height at front of the lower panel
*** Add 1" to over all height if seat sliders are used

Also avaliable in 1932 Ford standard sizes... see web site standard seat page for our 32 measurements. @ www.hotrodseats.com

Our Retro Style standard size frames include flip forward adjustable backs via adjustable stops, Fully welded tube frames with no open exposed tube ends, Fully laced Zig Zag No Sag springs, Fixed mounting brackets, and Fully painted with gloss black paint. Perfect fit for that Roadster, Stock closed body, or that heavily chopped car or truck. Just add high density foam for your desired seat ride position. These frames will be built in production runs of 10 or more at a time so we can keep the production costs ultra competitive. Delivery time is still 3.5 to 4.5 weeks after receipt of order but could be sooner if in stock. (Call to confirm) We think the extreme cost savings will make the slightly longer build time worth the wait.

As mentioned this is a HAMB Discount only! If your not a member forget this offer, or it might be a good reason to sign up and become a Hamb member? You must ASK for this discount at the time of purchase... it will not be extended past the time of the of purchase and we are not going to volunteer it to you. This is our way of giving members that are active on the Hamb O Dex a true discount.

The bottom line is this... These seat frames will be sold for $____ plus shipping and handling... Shop this price and be amazed.
Then shoot us your mailing zip code for a S&H Quote. Bolt on seat slider adjusters are available with this offer for an additional $_____ for the pair and includes the cable interconnects and crimps. A flip up base for under the seat access is also being offered at an additional $____.
May we strongly suggest that if you are in need of a seat frame now or will be in the next six months that you make this a priority. Don't let this offer get away from you! It is the best value on the market today... Feel free to contact us with any of your seat related questions and let us know your interested in the "Down and Dirty Early Thirty Blazing Hot & Humid” Summer Offer.

*** If there is a price listed in the above paragraph this offer is still active. But wont last long so dont procrastinate!
Now more than ever COMPARE PRICES then glide past the others and let Bengels save your ASS!

This was a custom frame built to Ronnie’s specs and we think he nailed it. Just what one would expect to see in a early surf wagon. Thanks for the pics Ron!
