Excellent turn out. Lots of good racing. Its hot but not too unbearable. Clouds show up to help with the bright sun. Glad to see a bunch of people having a good time!
I started to go this morning but these new meds they have me on I can't take the heat and sun. Real bummer!!
The henry j rolled about seven times on the top end. He came out safe. Car a total loss. Running low 9 nines around 135mph.
@fastcar1953, thanks for sharing the pics and the new reality for now...better safe than sorry...I'm glad that accident was free of major injury...
Thanks for the pictures. Glad everyone was safe. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Oh man, I was afraid that was Hooly’s Henry J. I’m glad he’s ok! Can you tell me anything about the red T roadster? r Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I made a post on the HAMB Drags page.the-end-of-the-okie-twister.1196865. I helped Hooley build and race the "Okie Twister" for the last 12 years. It had over 1,000 passes and some were spectacular, and all of them were fun. Like our Bonneville experience with the "Just Glad to be Here" 1953 Studebaker, it has been the experience that I only dreamed of for most of my life. I will miss watching the car run, and all the fun we have had traveling and racing, but the most important thing is that Hooley is okay.
It was rear engine, either straight six or 4 cylinder. They had some fast straight 6's and 4 bangers running. Neat to hear those things rev, like hyper bee's.
Really sad to see the Henry j,glad he is ok.300e van looks cool on cragars, getting pretty rare over here that t looks interesting too.great photos
Didn't run my truck. Wife says if i race it i have to trailer it. She aint no trailer queen. Working on my 54 chevy then next year maybe race.
