Hot Rod Reunion Bowling Green KY/ Whos' Going?

I've been working my ass off getting my honey-do's out of the way so I can have the whole wknd clear.
Can't wait. If I close my eyes I can almost smell the nitro.

 

I sure hope it cools down.

As of now, I'm planning on making the trips to pick-up/return the truck to dad's house in the middle of the night.

Yes it must be BG time again, It was 93 degrees yesterday and going for 96 today. It sure beats rain or snow. It looks like a little cooler next week.

 

First time coming to Hot Rod Reunion--wife loves the races--her Mothers day gift. Will be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday--hope to see some of you again.

 

My father in law (4my2dads) and I will be there again this year. Bringing the dragster and plan on being with the other cacklefest cars again.

I'm gonna step in it and answer for Denise......yes! And to make it easier to find, there will be a HAMB banner attached to an official Jalopy Journal tent(don't ask me where I got it)
All that, Lord willing......Denise and Tim(juniorstock) will be camping with me in my semi HAMB-friendly motorhome(hey, it's got air ride, big block Olds, aluminum wheels--12000lb hot rod with plumbing)....just gotta get the old bus up there...then it's hot rod party time!

 

Great....Just post what time and (as long as it does not interfere with the cacklefest meeting) I will be there.

 

Would not miss the Reunion for the world....a whole shitpot of Cincy boys will be heading that way on Tuesday...can't wait!

I ain't hot or humid at BG. Try Houston in the summer and that my frineds is one of the resons we moved to North of Dallas.

The Gizzle Hopper gang will be there for sure. Be sure and stop by and identify yourselves as HAMBones

If everything works out by this time next week i will be tired and sunburnt and smiling from ear to ear because of hot rod overload...

 

The Helger Bros Speed Shop guys will be there with the Head Hunter II alky FED for the 7.0 class . they also own the King & Marshall T/F dragster . nhra hall of famer Jimmy King is the crew chief great guys . stop by and say hello to them all . squiggy (hamber flyingpiston) will be there . just look for the pomp hair . they tested the digger this past wed at New England Dragway and it ran a 7.38 at 181mph . all over the place and cody got out of it . so we are hoping for 7 teens or 7.0's . they have done a ton of work to get there. plus cody the driver is only 18 . and can drive like the best of them wish i could be there .

 

can I get in on some of that action?

So far, the forcast is for mid eighties, some clouds, so maybe we'll get a little break from the heat of the last few years. Showers predicted for Saturday though....still wouldn't miss it, even if it rained.

 

Would anybody setting up in the swap meet have room for some cranks on consignment?

I will drive the tub this year and camp out some. Last year I dove my 63 Chevy II and did a few burnouts with pops riding along (he loved that!), but the gas she chugs to get there, so the tub this time

 

I will be there handing out fliers for my show, the Southeastern Truck Nationals, which is just outside Nashville.
