Hot Rod Reunion Bowling Green KY/ Whos' Going?

Just reserved my room and ordered my passes today. Who's going ? Looking forward to meeting some HAMBERS this year.

 

Raced there several times in the past, did the March Meet this year.
Fantastic event but damn hot !

Just mentioned it to my wife, didn't get anything thrown at me so looks like I'm down for it.

 

Getting into town Thurs,spending all Friday at the track.Good way to start the wife and I's vacation.Then going to cruise the south,tourist style.

 

I'm going, sure hope it's not as hot and humid as in the past.

 

It's the South in the summer. Come down in August when it's really hot and humid. I'll see you there!

 

well this is one of my favorite shows,BUT the last 2 years i have gotten physically sick it was so hot. and i was settin on my ars under a tent. i don't know about it this year.

I've been there twice,super good time.It is a bit on the HOT side though.

If you feeling ill because of the heat, you are dehydrated! Drink plenty of water, not pop. You can 1) bring it in with you, they don't hassle you about that, or 2) buy it for an exorbitant price at the concession stands, or 3) usually find it cheap or free in the swap meet areas around the place.

 

I feel for you racers. Last Oct there at Beech Bend it wasn't nearly as hot yet my head was sweltering in my helmet as I sat at the start line waiting to race my Dad. If only this June is as perfect weather-wise as last Oct.

 

Was there last year, skipping this year too HOT for me. The car and the rest of the guys will be there though. I'm in the white "T".

 

Of course we will be there all three days.

Last time I was at Beech bend (last fall). An hour into the show/ drags, I got the call that momma was in labor with our first. Hauled major butt home...
Sure will be a great story to tell the little guy one day!

Hopefully I'll make it back this year. (without the labor)

 

I'm about an hour away and hopefully nothing will come up this year.
