My tickets arrived yesterday. Taking my Grandson who may have a ball game on Saturday. If so, won't need my Saturday tickets. If interested, look for the car in my avatar a black 63 Chevy BelAir two door post car. We normally park under the trees back aways behind the strips starting line.

A recommendation for anyone attending the NHRA HRR for the first time. Bring heavy duty ear protection as it gets VERY LOUD. The seating is right on top of the track. My Grandson an I wear ear plugs covered by aviation ear muffs.

Yeah bring ear plugs it s LOUD. In a good way. Plus the shock waves. This is what I got the first year and keep coming back. If you don't have plugs fingers work too.

 

Didn't by any means trying to suggest that LOUD is a bad thing. Just the noise real Hot Rods make.

Nothing like getting woke up by the sound of nitro fueled burnouts!

 

Been on a few 100-200 mile shake down runs with the new motor, and other than a few minor things we've fixed. Feeling good, another few road trips between now and then. We're trying to break it, in a good way. I'd rather the truck break up here around the house than in the middle of Kentucky.

 

Got the trans in today and took a test drive did good
