Don I was hard pressed on tunes. I have a few WWII albums and some billboard albums from 45-49 and it just didn't fit for me so I picked One that had to do with cars and the other kept the beat going. Can't please them all.
Appreciate all your efforts!!--------All in all great job!--You are right tho, during that frame time there were so many songs going on that it would be impossible to get a hot rod music background. I'm sure Hambers would not enjoy Bing Crosby,Frank Sinatra,Rosemary Clooney,Vaughn Monroe, etc. in the background tunes.---Maybe Les Paul & Mary Ford tho----In "How high the Moon". That was pretty racy in 1950-51!!!
Nice, I finally got around to watching this and it is very good. Even if the music isn't era correct, it still adds to the show. If these pictures were taken today, it would be a bunch of fat kids with imports.
Great job. The music captures the raw feel of the cars and the scene. Very few people here under 80 would want to hear the real popular music of that time period.
