A little hot rod history On Search & Restore on Spike TV this weekend

A real build show on TV with no fake TV drama, no screaming, just real builders coming together from all across the country to give back to an awesome person.
    No egos...just building.
The show is Search & Restore on SPike TVs morning Power Block shows, its a quarterly special and this weekend we build something right up all your guys alley.
A Custom 51 Hudson, and we even chop it
We have awesome guys each week, the build is spread out over four half hour shows, ran back to back on November 17th and a rerun on Sunday the 18th morning. 8 AM central time.
Trust me you will like it.
And it has heart and story for the whole family to enjoy.
I anm host and lead builder, and pick the build styles and the volunteer team, we got some heavy hitters on this one!
We build real cars, this one has over 3000 man hours in it, and right now we hope to have the car on display at Detroi AutoRama.

yes its got custom metal work, slammed, slicked, smoothed, shaved, wide whites, chrome steelies...yup a real custom on TV
Please hope you can all tune in, I work my butt off with the studio to allow me to build a real sled on TV...please let everybody know

I've got the DVR set to record.A HAMB based build would be super cool were members could help on the build.

  7. I've watched these shows before, they are kinda on the lines of Overhaulin. They do up someone special's car to the 9's and give it back to them in a tear-jerker. No drama??? I wouldn't say that, but shit the show is still cool in my book. In my opinion if you don't like this kind of drama you must live the life of a recluse or you are dead.

    I'll be watchin'!

  17. Exactly what we need! I get so tired of all the drama the other shows seem to focus on

  21. Looking forward to this particular build; and like the fact that drama is down-played, rather than being the main focus!

my good bud, Chris Carlson, owner of Chaotic Customs in Mulvane Kansas, who is doing my 51, was one of the painters on this build. The guy does fabulous work and has a shop of highly skilled guys. They have done the final finish work on my 51 that Hub Harness chopped for me and final paint work, Kan't wait to see the show!
