Thanks for the pictures. I went to see the Metal Of Honor reciepents in Gainesville. It was a very humbling experience meeting these men that had put there life on the line for us.

 

I fell in love with this car at the show.

 

I'm glad that accidentally worked out pecker head. You're welcome and thanks sancho and I-SHOT. I am guessing those Metal of Honor recipients are Viet Nam era. It would be great meeting them and hearing their stories. Enraged Hawk - I liked that 36 Chevy a lot too, though I failed to get a really first class shot of it.

Here is a snapshot of one of the cars I actually ride in, my friend and hermano Raul De La Torre's 50 Buick Super right after we got to Top Notch.

Glad to see that Mercury Charlie was back.

 

1939 Plymouth Pickup with a 755 ci Jacobs R-755-A2 Radial Aircraft Engine. This was definitely one of the stars of the show and this first thing in the morning shot on Friday was about the only time when there were not hoards of people around it . It was started up a number of times and people seemed to love watching all the smoke and hearing it run. Built and owned by my friend Gary Corns here in Denver.

I took a chance and did a Websearch to get more photos of it and came across this link with a cabin photo. Tell your friend that is a real nice unit!
